About Me
I have 19 years of experience providing psychological evaluations and therapy.

I completed my Ph.D. at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, where my focus was on attachment and behavioral disorders including ADHD.

My training has been through the UNCG Psychology Clinic, the Virginia Beach City Public Schools, and a residency in play therapy in Salem, Va. I have additional training and experience in diagnosing autism, conducting forensic evaluations, psychoeducational evaluations, EMDR for trauma relief, and treating attachment and other parent-child problems.

Prior to moving to Staunton, Va., I maintained a private practice in the Roanoke area for 8 years. My former role with the Virginia Tech Carilion Medical School in Roanoke, Va., allowed me the opportunity to supervise medical residents, provide lectures, and conduct inter-disciplinary evaluations.

I am married with three boys ranging in age from 3 to 17. In my current practice, I seek to help clients reach their goals, experience healing from trauma, find answers to the problems they are facing, and develop coping skills to better manage the stress of day-to-day life.
